"In our life there is a time of wonder. Walking with the ancient ones as they share their world. And the dancing voices are carried by the wind. As I walk this sacred ground, I know I'm not alone, and I thank Mother Earth." ~Alex Davis, Seneca Cayuga
I’m participating in a Ritual Muses group and our first assignment is to commit to expanding our daily personal practice. ![]() I am committing to some big (for me) changes. The first is a change in my morning routine: Get up at sunrise and greet the morning outside with Sun Salutations and a meditation. That may not sound like much, but I’m a night owl and always have been. It will be interesting to see if changes what I get done during the day. The second commitment is to write two novel pages every week day. ![]() I’m going to give myself permission to take weekends off. That will put me on track to have Crescent Moon Crossing finished in early April. I’ll keep you posted. The last two additions will be easy. I’m setting up a Hestia offering bowl by my front door, so I can thank the hearth Goddess for my life’s blessings every day as I leave. Lastly, I’m going to be more diligent about working on my Book of Shadows weekly. ![]() The front artwork is Morrigan's Raven. I've had it for nearly a year and have only made two entries. It's time to give it the attention it deserves. Do you have a daily spiritual practice? Leave a comment, I’d love to hear about it.
